The firm’s public law lawyers primarily handle commercial matters involving public law. They are led by Henri Savoie, a former member of the Conseil d’Etat (the French administrative Supreme Court).
Based on our experience in mergers and acquisitions and public commercial law, we are often involved in matters related to privatizations and more generally pertaining to entities in which the French State directly or indirectly owns an interest.
Our public law lawyers also advise clients in regulated industries, particularly in the telecommunications, banking, media and public transport sectors, as well as advising companies that perform public services.
The public law team represents companies and individuals in litigation brought before the French administrative courts (i.e. Conseil d’Etat, Cours administratives d’appel, Tribunaux administratifs) as well as regulatory agencies (notably ARCEP, CSA, CRE and ARAF).
Finally, we advise clients daily on the negotiation and implementation of the principal categories of public contracts, including public procurement, concessions, public-private partnerships and other complex contracts.
