Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised American Tower Corporation and PGGM on the acquisition of FPS Towers
Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised American Tower Corporation, a leading independent owner, operator and developer of communications real estate with more than 144,000 sites in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and PGGM, the Dutch pension fund manager, on their entry into a definitive agreement with Antin Infrastructure Partners to acquire 100% of FPS Towers, for total consideration of approximately 697 million Euros (approximately $726 million at the current exchange rate) through ATC Europe, the previously announced joint venture of American Tower Corporation and PGGM. FPS Towers owns and operates approximately 2,400 wireless tower sites across France.
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017, subject to consultation with the employee representative body of FPS Towers and regulatory approval.
