Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised the French State in connection with the talks on the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

In this context, the French State has accepted to cap its voting rights on a restrictive list of shareholders’ meeting resolutions corresponding to ordinary management issues of the company, while keeping all of its voting rights and blocking minority on strategic issues. The cap will be set at a level of 17.9 % of exercisable voting rights, and may be increased to 20 % depending on the attendance rate recorded at the shareholders’ meeting.
