Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised Vivendi on the sale of its 20% stake in Numericable-SFR for EUR3.9 billion

Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised Vivendi on the sale of its 20% stake in Numericable-SFR for a total amount of approximately €3.9 billion.

Half of the stake was acquired by Numericable-SFR, as part of a share buyback program, with an immediate payment in cash. The other half of the stake was acquired by Altice France with a payment at the latest on 7 April 2016, bearing interest at a rate 3.80% and with first-demand bank guarantees issued by JP Morgan and BNP Paribas.

The DVMB team included Marcus Billam, Jean-Baptiste de Martigny and Ioana Nicolas.

Vivendi was also represented by Dominique Bompoint and Louis-François Guéret (Cabinet Bompoint).
