Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advises Carlyle on the exclusive discussions he entered in with Orora on the sale of a majority stake in Saverglass, global specialist in the manufacture, customization and decoration of high-end glass bottles

Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised Carlyle, when he entered into exclusive discussions with Orora, an Australian listed company in order to transfer a majority controlling stake in the group Saverglass, a high-end producer of bottles and carafes for the premium spirit, fine wine and perfume markets.
The offer is subject to the consultation process of the relevant French Saverglass Group employee works’ councils as well as regulatory approvals.
The Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier team consisted of Olivier Huyghues Despointes (partner), Alexandre Durand (counsel) and Youssef Driouich in corporate, Constance Bocket (counsel) and Amel Krideche in antitrust.
Orora was advised by Baker McKenzie, the managers of Saverglass were advised by Gide.
Carlyle was also advised by PwC on tax aspects and Corrs Chambers Westgarth on Australian law.
