Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advises Colony Capital on the sale of its entire stake in DIA

Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised Colony Capital on the sale by Blue Partners of its entire stake in DIA, the international distribution group listed in Spain.

The transaction was carried out jointly with Groupe Arnault through a private placement by way of an accelerated book building with institutional investors on 8.48% of the group’s share capital for a total amount of approximately 408.5 million euros.

The DVMB team included Jean-Baptiste de Martigny, Laurent Gautier and Charlotte Ferran in M&A and capital markets.

Freshfields Madrid advised on the Spanish law aspects of the transaction.
