Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advises Société Générale and Crédit du Nord in their planned merger

Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier is advising Société Générale and Crédit du Nord in the planned merger of their banking networks in France to form a new entity at the service of nearly 10 million customers (corporates, professionals and individuals).
The launch of the project has been approved by the boards of directors of Société Générale and Crédit du Nord and will be subject to consultation with social partners and the agreement of competent authorities.
The Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier team is led by Bertrand Cardi, Henri Savoie and Laurent Gautier (partners) and includes Christophe-Marc Juvanon and Clémence Gendre on corporate and M&A aspects, Jean-Baptiste Aubert (counsel) and Guillaume Griffart on regulatory aspects, and Vincent Agulhon (partner) and Roxane Delmas on tax aspects.
Société Générale and Crédit du Nord are also advised by Capstan for labor law aspects and CMS Monaco for Monegasque law and regulatory aspects.
