Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised the majority shareholders of Exagan, including financial, industrial and individual investors, on the sale of their stake in Exagan to STMicroelectronics.
Based in Grenoble, Exagan is a French Gallium Nitride (GaN) innovator founded in 2014, dedicated to accelerating the power-electronics industry’s transition from silicon-based technology to GaN-on-silicon technology, enabling smaller and more efficient electrical converters.
The Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier team included Olivier Huyghues Despointes (partner) and Paul Bertrand (associate) on corporate/M&A aspects, and Henri Savoie (partner) and Guillaume Griffart (associate) on public law and regulatory aspects.
