Marcus Billam joins DVMB as partner
Marcus Billam began his career at DVMB as an associate and then partner. He then went on to be a partner at Clifford Chance and had been a partner at Allen & Overy since 2010.
He advises primarily on mergers and acquisitions. He was named Lawyer of the Year in 2014 by his fellow peers and legal counsels.
Jean-Baptiste de Martigny, currently counsel at Allen & Overy, will also join the firm. He will be made partner in January 2016.
We look forward to the arrival of Marcus Billam which is part of the firm’s strategy to continue the development of its mergers and acquisitions practice for which DVMB has achieved great recognition, both in France and abroad.
In recent years, the firm has welcomed new partners who are leaders in their field (notably in mergers and acquisitions, tax and arbitration) and has also promoted organic young talents.
These arrivals will be accompanied by the appointment of Nicolas Mennesson as partner as of 1 January 2016. Earlier this year, Emmanuelle Vicidomini, who advises on financing, was also appointed counsel.
