Julie Pasternak, partner, advises companies and their executives in conflict, pre-litigation and litigation situations, and represents them before civil, commercial and criminal courts.

The Litigation team is notably ranked Band 1 by Chambers and Partners, Tier 1 by Legal 500, and listed as “essential” (“incontournable”) by Décideurs. It won the “Litigation Law Firm of the Year” award, presented for the first time in France by Chambers and Partners in 2025. Julie is also part of the team that received the “Litigation of the Year (Cartel Defence)” award at the 2023 Global Competition Review Awards for its work on the trucks cartel case.

In 2026, Julie was recognized in Décideurs Juridiques’ “La Relève des avocats d’affaires” [The Next Generation of Business Lawyers] ranking, which highlights, every two years, 30 young lawyers who are already leading figures in business law. She was also named by the Institut Choiseul among the “40 who are shaping the future of law,” and was selected by Wansquare (Les Echos Group) for its summer series “Ces Jeunes Leaders qui construisent la France de demain” [Young Leaders building tomorrow’s France].

In 2025, Julie was recognized by Legal 500 as a “Next Generation Partner” in commercial litigation. She was also nominated for the IFLR Women in Business Law Awards EMEA 2025 in the “Lawyer of the Year – Litigation” category. This international award recognizes, across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, women who not only stand out for their performance in their field of expertise, but who have also distinguished themselves among their peers by actively championing the cause of women in the profession.

Julie is also recognized among the “Up and Coming” lawyers by Chambers and Partners 2026 in the Corporate/Commercial Litigation: Elite practice. Her clients describe her as “very rigorous,” with an “ethical approach to litigation.” They note that she is “very precise, strategic, and has a 360-degree view of the case,” also highlighting her “extensive expertise in her field, which allows her to easily handle all types of complex matters. She demonstrates a remarkable ability to quickly and effectively grasp the issues at stake” (Chambers and Partners 2026).

Julie regularly takes part in conferences alongside practitioners and judges. She also teaches in various specialized Master’s programs in Paris (Paris 1 and Paris 2) and in the regions (DJCE Nancy and Lyon).
