Julie Pasternak, partner, advises companies and their directors on conflictual, pre-litigation and litigation situations, and represents them before civil, commercial and criminal courts.

The Litigation team is notably ranked in Band 1 by Chambers and Partners, in Tier 1 by Legal 500, and is listed as “incontournable” by Décideurs. It won the “Litigation Law Firm of the Year” award, presented for the first time in France by Chambers and Partners in 2025. Julie is also part of the team that received the “Litigation of the Year (Cartel Defense)” award at the 2023 Global Competition Review Awards for its work on the truck cartel case.

In 2025, Julie was recognized by Legal 500 as one of the “Next Generation Partners” in commercial litigation. Julie was also shortlisted for the IFLR Women in Business Law Awards EMEA 2025 in the “Lawyer of the Year – Litigation” category. This international award recognizes, across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, “women who not only stand out for their performance in their field of expertise, but who have also distinguished themselves among their peers by actively championing the cause of women in the profession.”

In 2026, Julie was recognized by Décideurs Juridiques’ “La Relève des avocats d’affaires” list, which highlights, every two years, 30 young lawyers who are already key figures in their field of business law. Julie was also recognized among the “Up and Coming” lawyers by Chambers and Partners 2026 in the practice Corporate/Commercial Litigation: Elite.

Julie participates in numerous conferences alongside practitioners and judges. She also taught for several years at the Sorbonne University and lectures in various specialized Master’s programs in Paris (Paris 1 and Paris 2) and in the provinces (DJCE in Nancy and Lyon).

Her clients describe her as “very rigorous” with an “ethical approach to litigation.” They note that she is “very precise, strategic and has a 360-degree view on the case” also highlighting her “extensive expertise in her field, which allows her to easily tackle all types of complex cases.
