Litigation and arbitration

Since its establishment in 1987, litigation and arbitration have always been cornerstones of the firm’s activities, which advises its clients to prevent and resolve disputes, both in France and abroad. The firm intervenes at all stages of proceedings before civil, commercial, criminal and administrative courts, as well as before independent administrative authorities and national and international arbitration tribunals.

The firm has three dedicated litigation teams.

The civil, commercial and stock market litigation team is headed by Matthieu Brochier and Nicolas Mennesson. The team, which also includes Cyril Bonan and Julie Pasternak, handles civil, commercial and stock market proceedings (especially before the French stock market authority) with high strategic stakes. In particular, the team handles litigation relating to mergers and acquisitions, stock market law, shareholder activism and shareholders disputes. The team is now extending its expertise to corporate social responsibility and has also developed a practice in alternative dispute resolution.

The arbitration team is led by Carine Dupeyron and Professor Laurent Aynès, who act as advisors and arbitrators. Most of our arbitration matters concern international disputes, conducted within the framework of arbitral institutions such as the ICC.

The white-collar criminal defense team, headed by Christophe Ingrain, has gained recognized expertise in working alongside companies and their executives in prevention, crisis management and defense against criminal prosecution related to economic and financial activities.

The firm also handles litigations relating to competition law (Didier Théophile, Guillaume Aubron and Constance Bocket), administrative business law (Henri Savoie) and tax law (Vincent Agulhon and Loïc Védie).

Each of these teams can rely on the support and experience of Jean-Michel Darrois and Emmanuel Brochier, and the cross-disciplinary skills of the firm's other lawyers.

The firm is recognized by the market and rankings as one of the leading French firms in business litigation, arbitration and white-collar criminal defense:
