Since its establishment in 1987, litigation and arbitration have always been cornerstones of the firm’s activities. Our litigation and arbitration team is led by Jean-Michel Darrois, Laurent Aynès, Emmanuel Brochier, Cyril Bonan, Christophe Ingrain, Matthieu Brochier, François Kopf, Nicolas Mennesson, Carine Dupeyron and Julie Pasternak.
We have developed significant expertise in litigation involving mergers and acquisitions in the context of public offers, representing both acquirers and targets, as well as in connection with post-transaction disputes. We also represent clients in connection with investigations conducted by the French market regulator (l’Autorité des marchés financiers) as well as in the context of administrative procedures, both before the administrative and, as the case may be, the criminal courts.
The firm handles litigation before the French courts in all areas, including commercial, civil and criminal disputes. We have also established a leading practice in alternative dispute resolution, including in particular mediation.
The firm’s international arbitration practice is headed by Professor Laurent Aynès and Carine Dupeyron. We regularly act as counsel, and our partners also act as arbitrators. The majority of such cases concern international disputes before arbitration institutions such as the ICC.
