Orphée has spent his entire career with the firm, which he joined in 2011. In 2016 he was seconded to Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen, & Katz in New York.

Orphée Grosjean is mainly active in mergers and acquisitions, securities law and corporate governance matters (and also has experience in related litigation and regulatory investigations). He regularly advises public and private companies, families as well as private equity funds.

Orphée has developed particular expertise in the banking and financial sector (FIG), regularly advising credit institutions and insurance groups paritarian institutions or mutual groups, notably in the context of strategic combinations, takeover bids or governance matters.

Orphée teaches banking and financial regulation law at Sciences Po Paris, the legal aspects of the Introduction to Private Equity course at HEC Paris and the Takeover Law course at the DJCE Lyon III.

Orphée has written several articles and the book Takeovers: professional practices and interdisciplinarity, was published under his direction by Lefebvre Dalloz in 2024.
