Having previously been involved in domestic and international arbitration proceedings when he started working at Darrois Villey, Paul is now specialized in advising clients before criminal courts on white-collar crime matters such as spanning embezzlement, international corruption, bribery, tax evasion, money laundering, regulatory offenses, press law and stock market criminal law.
He is part of the white collar crime team of the firm named among other things as “key player” (“incontournable”) by Décideurs magazine and ranked in Tier 1 by Legal 500. Paul is designated as “ones to watch” by Best Lawyers since 2022 and as a “rising star” by Legal 500 since 2023:
- He “is part of the new generation of genuine criminal lawyers: he explains things very clearly and can cut through to the essential points”, he “has a perfect command of each stage of the criminal procedure” and “provides concise, relevant, timely and constructive advice” (Legal 500, 2023).
- He “is a very promising, efficient and creative young lawyer” who “knows perfectly the issues and problems of criminal proceedings for a company” (Legal 500, 2024);

Paul was also a lecturer at University of Paris II in criminal law and criminal procedure law for several years. He also teaches on a regular basis in Master Degrees specialized in criminal procedure (Universities of Paris II and Paris V) as well as in schools of political sciences. He also regularly publishes articles in legal journals specializing in criminal law and criminal procedure.
