Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised AnaCap on the sale of the Milleis banking group to LCL and Crédit Agricole Assurances

Paris, 18 May 2026

On 30 April 2026, the investment fund AnaCap successfully completed the sale of the entire Milleis banking group – France’s third-largest independent private bank with €13 billion of assets under management – to LCL and Crédit Agricole Assurances. LCL acquired the entire Milleis group (comprising Milleis Banque and its subsidiaries) and immediately sold the insurance company Milleis Vie to Crédit Agricole Assurances.

The Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier team, led by Pierre Casanova and Charlotte Ferran (partners), comprised Paul Bertrand (counsel) and Carla Elbaz dit Nouchy on corporate and M&A matters, Vincent Agulhon (partner) and Anne-Sophie Del Grande on tax law matters, Constance Bocket (partner) and Solène Balesi on competition law matters, and Guillaume Griffart (counsel) on regulatory matters.
