Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier announces the appointment of Brice Bohuon as Partner
Paris, 5 December 2025 – Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier is pleased to announce the appointment of Brice Bohuon as Partner within its Regulation and Public Law practice.
This appointment is part of the firm’s strategy to further strengthen its leading position in regulatory and institutional matters, which have become central to major economic decisions and high-profile transactions conducted for its clients in France and internationally.
Brice Bohuon will join, in early 2026, the team led by Henri Savoie, which advises on the full spectrum of regulatory and public economic law issues, notably in the banking and financial sectors, as well as in energy, media, telecommunications, transport, and foreign investment control. A core area of expertise within the firm, the team plays a pivotal role in Darrois’ most strategic mandates, combining deep legal and institutional insight across transactional, litigation, and contractual matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, economic disputes, and the drafting and performance of complex public contracts. The team regularly represents clients before administrative and European courts and collaborates with numerous international law firms on matters involving French and EU regulatory frameworks.
Before joining the firm, Brice Bohuon served as Group General Secretary and member of the Executive Committee of EDF, France’s state-owned electricity utility and one of the world’s largest energy companies. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris (Institute of Political Studies), the École nationale d’administration (ENA – France’s elite public administration school) and a civil engineer from the École des Mines, he began his career at the Conseil d’État, France’s highest administrative court, before holding senior management roles at SNCF (the French national railway company), the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), and Transdev, a leading international public transport operator.
At the crossroads of the public sector and major industrial groups, Brice Bohuon brings to the firm a deep understanding of institutional dynamics and extensive experience in corporate governance and organizational transformation. His arrival will further enhance the firm’s ability to advise clients operating in strategic sectors of the economy, maintaining the highest standards of excellence and quality of service.
