Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier announces the appointment of Philippe Guibert and Alexandre Eberhardt as partners

Paris, 2 October 2026
Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier announces the appointment of Philippe Guibert and Alexandre Eberhardt as partners. They will join Guillaume Aubron and Constance Bocket in the firm’s competition law team effective 19 October 2026, accompanied by four associates.
These appointments come during a period of particularly strong activity for the firm in both mergers and acquisitions and strategic litigation. Since the beginning of the year, the firm has welcomed six new partners across its mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and public and regulatory law practices. The appointment of Philippe and Alexandre reinforces the firm’s competition law practice, which will now have four partners and a dozen associates.
The firm’s competition law practice draws on the extensive experience built up since it was established by Didier Théophile in 2002, and to which Guillaume Aubron and Constance Bocket have contributed for more than fifteen years. The arrival of Philippe and Alexandre further enriches that expertise. With four specialist partners with common values and a shared strategic vision, the firm remains ideally placed to continue serving its clients with the highest standards of rigor on the most complex and strategic matters involving merger control, as well as investigations and litigation concerning anticompetitive practices, before French and European Union authorities and courts and internationally.
The firm is delighted to welcome Philippe and Alexandre and to further strengthen its leading position in competition law.
