Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advises Fareva within the context of the contemplated acquisition of two production sites located in Idron and Saint-Julien-en-Genevois from the pharmaceutical group Pierre Fabre. The facility of Idron, near Pau, manufactures injectable drugs, mainly in oncology. The facility of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois produces monoclonal antibodies.
Fareva is the world’s leading subcontractor in the industrial field for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, make-up, industrial & household products. The group achieved a turnover of 1.81 billion euros in 2019 and employs 12,000 employees in 39 production sites.
The contemplated transaction is expected to be completed in the coming months, subject to the usual conditions for such transactions.
The Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier team includes François Kopf, Jean-Baptiste de Martigny (partners), Christophe-Marc Juvanon and Caroline Vernet Leduc (associates) on corporate/M&A aspects, and Henri Savoie (partner), Patrick Mèle (counsel) and Guillaume Griffart (associate) on public law and regulatory aspects.
