Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advises Mayhoola on its acquisition of Balmain

Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised Mayhoola, the Qatari private investment company, on its acquisition of Balmain International SA (the parent company of Balmain group) from its current owners. The closing of the deal is expected to occur during summer 2016.

Balmain is an independent fashion house that was founded in 1945 by Pierre Balmain and which currently has 17 directly owned stores throughout the world.

The Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier team was led by Alain Maillot and Hugo Diener (partners), assisted by Christopher Grey (senior associate) and Frederic Chevalier (associate) in M&A, Igor Simic (partner) and Elise Maillot (associate) on antitrust aspects and Vincent Agulhon (partner) and Brian Martin (associate) on tax aspects.
