Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier names Marcos Barradas and Paul Mallet as counsels

Paris, 14 October 2024

The partners of Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier are pleased to announce the nomination of Marcos Barradas and Paul Mallet as counsels in the arbitration and the criminal business law departments respectively.

Marcos Barradas, 39 years old (Université Paris II Panthéon Assas, Grossmont College, Universidad Cristobal Colon), joined the firm in January 2017. He works in the international arbitration team, both in ad hoc and institutional (ICC, SIAC, ICSID) arbitrations, in sectors such as defense, construction, energy and luxury goods, as well as in litigation to enforce or set aside arbitral awards. Marcos also acts as an arbitrator and is currently presiding over an ICC commercial arbitration. He also assists the firm’s clients in their commercial disputes. Marcos has been recognized again this year by Who’s Who Legal as an “Arbitration – Future leader” in France.

Paul Mallet, 36 years old (Université Paris Panthéon-Assas, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne), joined the firm in 2016. He assists listed and unlisted companies, executives, political representatives, and public figures in all their criminal litigation matters. He is particularly involved in proceedings related to offenses against integrity, criminal tax law, and corporate criminal law. His practice also extends to labor criminal law and press criminal law. He teaches in several Master’s programs specializing in criminal procedure at various universities, as well as at institutes of political studies.
